Subject: Day Light Saving: Saves Power

Suggestions:

I have heard that the govt may consider to do a 5 day week to conserve power.

I as a citizen would like to oppose it, and Would like to emphasize to introduce day light
saving again in Pakistan.

Moving back 2 hours in summer would save us equal energy or even more which we spend
in 1 day, by using the sunlight that has been gifted to god to us.

Pakistan has a very high area that gets sunlight, and this light starts anywhere from 6am to 5
am Pakistan Standard Time currently, and by moving our watches 2 hrs behind the current
time in summer, we can save a huge amount of energy.

This was done in Pakistan 1 year, and it was not duplicated again, probably because people
were not able to understand what is going on, but it is ok, even till date in the United States
people STILL FORGET to be turn back there clocks and turn out late and other problems do
occur, however it is only time that will teach us to learn how to adapt, but by saving the
precious oil and power that we do not have much by doing this simple step will save us and
our country a lot of money.

Subject: Street Lights

Suggestions:

Street lights alongwith highways get lighted after 8.00 am (Sunshine at 5.00 am) these days, examples are Kashmir highway & Diplomatic Enclave etc.

Some one, some where is inefficient.

You should also look into it.
